Welcome to KAS Counselling. Having someone to talk to can be a really great help if you are suffering with poor mental health or anxiety; keeping problems inside can often have a negative effect on your overall mood and happiness.
We are proud to offer a safe space and a range of counselling services in Chester.
Kirsty Sanderson is the professional counsellor at our Chester base, training for many years to offer her specialised relationship counselling sessions. She is a Registered Member of the National Counselling Society and adheres to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
We ensure that at KAS Counselling, you will always receive the highest quality of counselling service, tailored to your needs to help you deal with whatever emotions you may be feeling.
Whether you’re noticing a breakdown of trust in your marriage, perhaps because of an affair or money troubles, or you’re suffering with wider family issues, perhaps a lack of communication or unwanted tension; whatever relationship issues may be bothering you, we are here to help.
We offer a safe, supportive environment in our Chester counselling sessions where we help you understand and work on whatever problems are affecting you in your relationships.
We are committed to providing a relationship counselling service that is well-suited to the individual(s) that we are working with. It may work for you to take sessions as a couple, or by yourself; either way, we can accommodate.
We offer relationship therapy for anyone who wants it, no matter your relationship status, sexuality, gender or ethnicity .
Anxiety and Depression
Many of us will experience anxiety and depression at some point in our lives, some more severe than others. It is often the case that having someone to talk to can relieve some of the bad feelings and help create light at the end of what may feel like a dark tunnel.
Our counselling services in Chester will offer a non-judgemental space for you to express exactly how you are feeling so we are able to help you understand the factors that are contributing to your mental ill-health as a way to help cope with and reduce these feelings you may be facing.
Close to our Chester counselling base, Kirsty also offers Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP). Horses have a unique ability to evoke feelings, so EFP is a great way to help improve communication and social skills by building confidence or to explore feelings of anger, stress and trauma..
